Now double the fabric to make a two layered fabric piece to transfer the shape. If your fabric is thin, you can convert the layer of fabric to four while folding it twice. Now cutting this four layered fabric at once is much easier and quick. Once you transfer the template pattern, now cut the fabric exactly along the edges by keeping a half inch space for the seams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now add elastic to the bottom of the mittens and stretch it while you sew to create an elastic effect. Similarly, hem the edges to give a neat look, and now turn the fabric upside down to sew along the edges leaving the bottom open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you are done with the cutting, now ensure that both the sides of the fabric are actually the back sides that will go inside once the bib is turned around. Sew along leaving both sides from the top so that you can turn around the bib by making the stitches invisible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once your bib is all sewn except the top sides that are narrow, now you should turn it around using a narrow stick. Such as, a chopstick or a bodkin. Once it is turned around, now you can take a piece of half inch ribbon and make two pieces each of 10 inches length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The both top ends are open of the bib, all you have to do is take one side of the ribbon and adjust it inside those ends neatly. While, fold the bad edges inside to give a fine look, and now sew over it two to three times to secure the ribbon as well as securing the edges. Now repeat the same on the other side, but make sure to use the other part of the ribbons end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
